When to Leave a Cheating Spouse

This is probably one of the hardest questions to answer as everyone is different in their approach to dealing with a cheating partner. Some people are able to forgive where as others are not and there are of course people who stick their heads in the sand and refuse to believe anything is wrong and fall for all the lines and guilt put to their door.

In this case the aggrieved spouse is made to feel insignificant and at the mercy of their cheating spouse without knowing why. I suffered for years at the internal torment of thinking things were ok and then being thrown down the gauntlet of lies, I did by the end truly believe that I was going insane. One minuet I believed my partner and fought against others to protect his innocence and other times I knew deep down that there was more to the story than fist meets the eye. I have learned now to forgive as although I have no concrete proof all the signs were there and by writing these articles I have come to realize even more signs than I initially thought he actually portrayed at the time, in fact he still does with some of them leaving me confused and wounded all over again. This is the path so many people go down and for some of you, like me when you have no proof it comes down to a call of judgment. You may not get it right but know the truth comes out eventually and one day you will know and deal with it accordingly.

For people that do have concrete proof the decision is entirely up to you where you go from there. Some people advise you to leave your cheating partner, wipe the slate clean and move on to find someone who is worthy of your love. Other people urge you to try and work things out, like cheating is a stumble on the road of life and is to be expected at some point due to x, y and z. The main, right decision for you comes from within, all I can advise is that you take your time to truly think through what you want to do, don’t be pushed one way or another by anyone.
